A friend of mine was hosting a karaoke night at his house.
There were 2 big differences between this night and one at a bar.
1. No alcohol.
2. No talent required.
A buddy of our host was known as a bit of a prankster, and had apparently put my name in for a certain song.
When the screen showed the song’s title, a perplexed look was painted across my face.
I glanced at the crowd, took a deep breath, then smiled as the music started to play.
I put on my best Kermit the Frog voice, and proceeded to sing.
“Why are there so many
Songs about rainbows
And what’s on the other side
Rainbows are visions
But only illusions
And rainbows have nothing to hide.”
I continued to sing, and at the end, I received a resounding response.
I was a hit.

People will often underestimate us.
They will try to manipulate situations in order to embarrass us.
Instead, we need to be bold and break out of our comfort zones.
When we get out of our comfort zone and show what we are made of, we can turn our enemies into allies and our critics into fans.
Be bold and get out of your comfort zone

My name is John, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself
I am a dedicated husband to my wonderful wife and a proud father of two amazing children. In addition, I am blessed to be a loving papa to four adorable grandchildren. These roles bring immense joy and fulfillment to my life.
Two titles i identify by, that tend to grab attention: Leadership Advocate and Storyteller. These two titles are closely intertwined and warrant further explanation.
To me, being a leader means being an effective communicator. I firmly believe that storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to convey a message and connect with others. A good leader possesses the ability to inspire and motivate through the art of storytelling.
